Apologies in advance

A) I try to generally be more concerned with social causes than political parties (although obviously there is overlap)
B) I fully realize that the article's title is deliberately political and intended to get attention by being divisive (and generalizes the entire conservative political spectrum). I do not agree that "everything Republicans believe is wrong"; I just think this article does something that too few articles outside of academia try to do, which is...
C) Despite the emotionally-charged approach to journalism, I still appreciate an article citing plenty credible sources for each point it makes.
D) If you don't want to read about climate change, the reinforcement of economic disparity, socialized health care, etc. then just skip this particular entry.
